As a product of Chicago public schools, I believe every child deserves equitable access to high-quality education, with the staff, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive in the classroom and in life.

Lilian will:

• Fight for fair, equitable funding for our district’s schools, challenging outdated funding models that underfund and close schools, forcing families out of our neighborhoods

• Support teachers and critical school staff to ensure our children are healthy, safe, and well-prepared

• Defend the elected representative school board, guaranteeing that immigrant, low-income, and linguistically diverse communities have a voice in decisions that impact their children

• Promote culturally and linguistically accessible curricula, ensuring our students see their histories and experiences reflected in their learning
