I believe that every job should provide dignity and respect for workers. Growing up witnessing my dad struggle to provide for his family as a low wage worker without access to benefits or workplace protections inspired my own career taking on greedy corporations and exploitative bosses. 

Lilian has:

• Championed the Work Without Fear Act that would end discriminatory practices against immigrant workers 
• Co-sponsored the Paid Leave for All Act 
• Chief Co-sponsor of the Dignity in Pay Act that would eliminate the sub-minimum wage for people with disabilities 

Lilian will continue to fight to:

• Work to end discriminatory practices against immigrant workers 
• Fight for everyone to have access to paid family and medical leave
• Work to increase the minimum wage, including eliminating subminimum wages for tipped workers and people with disabilities 
• Advocate for the expansion of the state’s Department of Labor in order to comprehensively address workplace abuse and provide more robust worker protections
